Certain conditions may not be readily visible before processing. Garments or items with weakened fibers, previous damage, deterioration, or other inherent defects may be more susceptible to damage during cleaning or handling.
SurfSide Cleaners will not be responsible for damage resulting solely from an inherent weakness, defect, deterioration, or condition that existed before the item was submitted for service.

Customers who would like a particular stain to receive additional attention should identify the stain or provide specific instructions before the item is processed.
4.3 Specialized or Additional Treatment

Additional charges may apply when specialized stain treatment or additional processing is requested or required. Any applicable additional charge will be communicated to the customer when reasonably practicable.

Some stains cannot be safely removed without creating a risk of discoloration, fabric damage, loss of finish, or other changes to the garment.
SurfSide Cleaners may decline or limit a stain-treatment procedure when, in our reasonable judgment, the requested treatment could create an unreasonable risk of damage to the item.
4.5 Previous Stain Treatments
Customers should inform SurfSide Cleaners if a garment has previously been treated with stain-removal products, home remedies, chemicals, or other substances.
Previous treatments may affect the fabric, color, finish, or the ability to safely perform additional stain treatment.
5. ALTERATIONS & REPAIRS
5.1 Alteration Services
SurfSide Cleaners may provide garment alteration and repair services, including hems, length adjustments, waist adjustments, button replacement, minor repairs, and other alterations offered by the store.
The availability of a particular alteration or repair will depend on the garment, its construction, material, condition, and the nature of the requested work.
5.2 Customer Instructions
Customers are responsible for providing clear and accurate instructions regarding requested alterations.
Where measurements, fitting information, photographs, samples, or other specifications are required, customers are responsible for providing accurate information and reviewing the requested alteration before the work begins.
5.3 Garment Condition
Before performing an alteration or repair, SurfSide Cleaners may determine that a garment is not suitable for the requested work because of its material, construction, age, condition, previous alterations, existing damage, or other characteristics.
We may decline an alteration or recommend an alternative approach when, in our reasonable judgment, the requested work could create an unreasonable risk of damage to the garment.
5.4 Customer Approval
For alterations requiring specific measurements, fitting decisions, or other customer-selected specifications, the customer is responsible for confirming the requested specifications before the work is performed.
Once the alteration has been completed according to the customer's approved instructions, subsequent changes requested by the customer may be treated as a new alteration service and may be subject to additional charges.
5.5 Alteration Results
While SurfSide Cleaners will use reasonable care and professional workmanship, alterations can produce results that vary depending on the garment's construction, fabric, previous alterations, and condition.
Certain garments may not be capable of being altered to achieve the exact result requested by the customer.

Commercial customers may receive services under arrangements that differ from those applicable to individual retail customers.
Commercial service arrangements may include customer-specific service requirements, pickup and delivery schedules, processing instructions, billing arrangements, and other terms agreed upon between the customer and SurfSide Cleaners.

Commercial customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate information regarding the type and quantity of items submitted for service;
Identifying items requiring special handling or specific processing instructions;
Informing SurfSide Cleaners of any known conditions that could affect the processing of the items; and
Ensuring that items submitted for service are suitable for the requested cleaning or laundering process.
6.4 Special Handling
Certain commercial items may require specialized processing because of their material, construction, condition, size, or intended use.
SurfSide Cleaners may review individual items or categories of items before accepting them for processing and may decline items that cannot be safely or appropriately processed using the available services.
6.5 Commercial Agreements
Where a commercial customer has entered into a separate written service agreement with SurfSide Cleaners, the terms of that agreement may supplement or govern the commercial services provided under that arrangement.
7. PICKUP & DELIVERY
7.1 Availability
Pickup and delivery services may be available to qualifying customers, locations, and service types.
Availability, service areas, scheduling options, and applicable service conditions may vary depending on the customer's location and the service requested.
7.2 Scheduling
Customers using pickup and delivery services are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service addresses, access instructions, and any other information reasonably necessary to complete the pickup or delivery.
Customers should ensure that garments or other items are available at the agreed location and within the applicable pickup window.
7.3 Pickup and Delivery Through WashApp Florida
Certain pickup and delivery services associated with SurfSide Cleaners may be scheduled or managed through WashApp Florida, a service operated by WashApp LLC.
When a customer uses WashApp Florida to schedule or manage a pickup or delivery service, additional WashApp LLC terms and conditions may apply to that service.
SurfSide Cleaners and WashApp LLC are separate legal entities. The applicable entity and service terms may depend on the service selected and how the order is placed.
7.4 Customer Access and Availability
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the pickup or delivery location and for following any instructions provided for placing or receiving items.
Delays, missed pickups, or missed deliveries may occur when the customer does not provide access, the items are unavailable, or the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete.
7.5 Delivery of Completed Orders
Customers should inspect completed orders promptly after delivery or pickup and notify the appropriate service provider as soon as reasonably possible if an item appears to be missing, damaged, or otherwise requires attention.
Claims involving services arranged through WashApp Florida may be subject to the applicable WashApp LLC claims and service procedures.
8. PAYMENT & PRICING
8.1 Service Pricing
Prices for services provided by SurfSide Cleaners may vary depending on the type of service, garment or item, material, condition, processing requirements, alterations requested, and other applicable service factors.
The applicable price or estimated charge will be communicated to the customer before or at the time the service is ordered, when reasonably practicable.
8.2 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply when an item requires specialized treatment, additional processing, alterations, repairs, special handling, or other services not included in the originally requested service.
Where reasonably practicable, SurfSide Cleaners will communicate applicable additional charges to the customer before performing services that result in an additional charge.
8.3 Payment
Payment is due in accordance with the payment terms applicable to the service and customer account.
SurfSide Cleaners may accept the payment methods made available by the company at the time of service. Customers are responsible for providing accurate payment information and for satisfying any outstanding balance associated with their orders.
8.4 Outstanding Balances
If a customer has an outstanding balance, SurfSide Cleaners may delay release or further processing of an order until the applicable balance has been resolved, subject to applicable law.
8.5 Pricing Changes
SurfSide Cleaners may update its prices, fees, and service charges from time to time.
Changes to pricing will generally apply to services ordered after the applicable change becomes effective. Pricing applicable to a service or order already accepted by SurfSide Cleaners will not be changed retroactively except where otherwise agreed with the customer or permitted by applicable law.
8.6 Estimates and Final Charges
Where an estimated price is provided before an item is inspected or processed, the final charge may differ when the condition, material, construction, required treatment, or requested service requires additional work.
When reasonably practicable, SurfSide Cleaners will communicate material changes to an estimated charge before proceeding with additional work.
9. GARMENT DAMAGE, LOSS & CLAIMS
9.1 Reasonable Care
SurfSide Cleaners will use reasonable care in handling garments and other items entrusted to us for cleaning, alteration, repair, or other services.
Customers acknowledge that certain garments and textiles may be susceptible to changes or damage during cleaning, finishing, alteration, or other processing because of their material, construction, condition, age, previous treatment, manufacturer instructions, or inherent characteristics.
9.2 Pre-Existing Conditions and Inherent Weakness
SurfSide Cleaners is not responsible for damage resulting solely from a pre-existing condition, deterioration, defect, weakness, previous damage, improper prior treatment, or other characteristic of an item that existed before the item was submitted for service.
Some conditions may not be visible or reasonably detectable before processing.
9.3 Damage During Processing
If a customer believes that an item was damaged during processing, the customer should notify SurfSide Cleaners as soon as reasonably possible after receiving or picking up the item.
SurfSide Cleaners may review the circumstances of the claim to determine whether the reported damage occurred while the item was in our care and whether the company may be responsible for the reported damage.
9.4 Lost Items
If a customer reports that an item is missing, SurfSide Cleaners may review available records and information relating to the order, including order records, processing records, identification information, pickup or delivery records, and, when available and appropriate, security footage.
The purpose of such review is to determine whether the item was received by SurfSide Cleaners, whether it was processed as part of the order, and whether the item was subsequently returned, delivered, or otherwise accounted for.
9.5 Claim Investigation
Depending on the circumstances, SurfSide Cleaners may request reasonable information or documentation from the customer to assist in evaluating a claim.
For higher-value items, documentation may include information regarding the item's purchase, age, original price, condition, or other information reasonably necessary to determine the value of the item.
The company may also review applicable care labels, order records, photographs, processing information, employee records, and available security footage when appropriate.
9.6 Determination of Responsibility
Each claim will be evaluated based on the circumstances and available information.
A customer report of damage or loss does not, by itself, establish that SurfSide Cleaners caused the loss or damage. Similarly, SurfSide Cleaners will not automatically deny a claim solely because an item is delicate, expensive, or difficult to process.
Where the available information indicates that SurfSide Cleaners is responsible for a loss or damage occurring while the item was in our care, the claim will be addressed in accordance with our applicable claims policy and applicable law.
9.7 Valuation of Claims
When compensation is appropriate, the value of a garment or other item may be determined based on factors including its original purchase price, age, condition, type, current value, and other relevant circumstances.
SurfSide Cleaners may use an established textile-industry valuation methodology when appropriate to assist in determining the value of a claim.
9.8 Resolution of Claims
Depending on the circumstances of the claim, SurfSide Cleaners may resolve an approved claim through a store credit, refund, reimbursement, replacement, repair, or another appropriate resolution.
The form and amount of any resolution will depend on the circumstances of the claim, the value and condition of the item, the extent of any verified loss or damage, and applicable law.
9.9 Limitations Relating to Processing
SurfSide Cleaners does not guarantee that every garment or item will remain unchanged during processing when the item contains inherent weaknesses, delicate materials, unstable dyes, previous damage, unusual construction, or other characteristics that create a reasonable risk associated with the requested service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. CLAIMS PROCEDURE
10.1 Reporting a Claim
Customers who believe that an item has been lost, damaged, or otherwise affected during the provision of services should contact SurfSide Cleaners as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Claims should include sufficient information to identify the customer, order, garment or item involved, and the nature of the reported loss or damage.
10.2 Information Supporting a Claim
To assist with the review of a claim, SurfSide Cleaners may request reasonable information or documentation, which may include:
The customer's name and contact information;
Order or receipt information;
A description of the garment or item;
A description of the reported loss or damage;
Photographs of the item or damage;
Information regarding the item's purchase, age, condition, or value; and
Any other information reasonably relevant to evaluating the claim.
10.3 Inspection of Items
When appropriate, SurfSide Cleaners may request that the affected garment or item be made available for inspection before a claim is resolved.
Customers should retain the affected item and should not alter, repair, clean, or otherwise modify it before SurfSide Cleaners has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, when inspection is requested.
10.4 Investigation
SurfSide Cleaners may review available information relevant to a claim, including order records, processing records, garment information, employee reports, photographs, and available security footage.
The company may also contact the customer to obtain additional information or clarification when necessary.
10.5 Claim Review
Claims will be evaluated based on the information reasonably available to SurfSide Cleaners and the circumstances of the individual claim.
The review may consider whether the item was received by SurfSide Cleaners, its condition when received, the requested service, applicable care instructions, the processing performed, and whether the available information supports a finding of loss or damage while the item was in our care.
10.6 Resolution
After reviewing a claim, SurfSide Cleaners will communicate the outcome to the customer.
When a claim is approved or otherwise resolved in the customer's favor, the available resolution may include a store credit, refund, reimbursement, repair, replacement, or another appropriate resolution, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
10.7 Good-Faith Cooperation
Customers and SurfSide Cleaners are expected to cooperate in good faith in the review of any claim.
Submitting a claim does not guarantee reimbursement or any particular resolution. Likewise, SurfSide Cleaners will evaluate claims based on their individual circumstances rather than automatically denying or approving a claim solely because of the type or value of the item.
11. UNCLAIMED GARMENTS & ITEMS
11.1 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for retrieving completed orders within a reasonable period after receiving notice that the order is ready.
Customers should ensure that SurfSide Cleaners has accurate and current contact information so that we can communicate regarding completed orders or other matters relating to their account or items.
11.2 Unclaimed Items
Garments and other items that remain unclaimed may be handled or disposed of in accordance with applicable Florida law.
Where required by law, SurfSide Cleaners will provide the applicable notice regarding unclaimed items at the time the items are received for service.
11.3 Customer Contact Information

SurfSide Cleaners may use the contact information provided by the customer to notify the customer that an order is ready for pickup or to address an issue relating to an order.
11.4 Retrieval of Completed Orders
Customers should retrieve completed orders promptly after receiving notification that they are ready.
SurfSide Cleaners may contact customers regarding orders that remain at the store for an extended period and may provide additional instructions or notices when appropriate.
11.5 Abandoned or Unclaimed Items
Nothing in these Terms is intended to alter or waive any notice or other requirement imposed by applicable Florida law regarding the handling or disposition of unclaimed garments or other property.
12. CUSTOMER PICKUP & ORDER RELEASE
12.1 Order Pickup
Customers are responsible for collecting completed orders after receiving notification that the order is ready for pickup.
Customers should retain their receipt, order number, or other available order identification when picking up completed items.
12.2 Pickup Without Receipt
If a customer does not have the original receipt or other order documentation, SurfSide Cleaners may require reasonable identification or additional information to verify the customer's identity and the order before releasing the items.
For security purposes, customers may be asked to present valid identification and sign a store record when an order is released without the original receipt or when additional verification is reasonably necessary.
12.3 Authorized Representatives
A customer may authorize another person to pick up an order on the customer's behalf. SurfSide Cleaners may request reasonable information or identification to verify the authorization before releasing the order.
12.4 Order Verification
SurfSide Cleaners may use order numbers, customer information, identification, receipts, account information, or other reasonable verification methods to help ensure that completed orders are released to the appropriate customer or authorized representative.
12.5 Orders Not Collected
Customers remain responsible for collecting completed orders and for keeping their contact information current.
Orders that remain unclaimed may be subject to the provisions regarding Unclaimed Garments & Items in these Terms and applicable Florida law.
13. REFUNDS, CREDITS & CANCELLATIONS
13.1 Refunds
Refunds may be provided when appropriate based on the circumstances of the service, order, cancellation, or claim.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the availability and amount of any refund may depend on whether the requested service has already been performed, the condition of the item, and the circumstances giving rise to the refund request.
13.2 Store Credits
When appropriate, SurfSide Cleaners may offer a store credit as a resolution for a customer service issue, service concern, adjustment, or approved claim.
Store credits are not automatically guaranteed for every complaint or service issue and may be offered based on the circumstances of the individual matter.
Unless otherwise stated at the time a credit is issued, store credits may be applied toward future eligible services provided by SurfSide Cleaners.
13.3 Cancellations
Customers should notify SurfSide Cleaners as soon as possible when they wish to cancel a service or order.
Whether a cancellation can be made without charge may depend on the type of service, whether processing has already begun, whether the item has already been altered or otherwise worked on, and other circumstances applicable to the order.
13.4 Services Already Performed
Once a cleaning, alteration, repair, or other service has been performed, cancellation may no longer be possible.
In such circumstances, any request for a refund, adjustment, or other resolution will be evaluated based on the circumstances of the service and applicable law.
13.5 Customer Satisfaction Concerns
If a customer believes that a service did not meet the requested specifications or has another concern regarding a completed service, the customer should contact SurfSide Cleaners as soon as reasonably possible.
SurfSide Cleaners may review the concern and, where appropriate, offer a reasonable resolution based on the circumstances.
14. ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED & SERVICE LIMITATIONS
14.1 Items That May Not Be Accepted
SurfSide Cleaners may decline to accept or process an item when, in our reasonable judgment, the item cannot be safely or appropriately serviced using the available cleaning, laundering, alteration, repair, or finishing methods.
This may include items that:
Are not suitable for the requested cleaning or laundering process;
Have care instructions that are inconsistent with the requested service;
Present a condition that creates an unreasonable risk of damage during processing;

SurfSide Cleaners may refuse items that contain or may contain hazardous substances, bodily fluids, chemicals, pests, excessive contamination, or other materials that could reasonably pose a health, safety, or equipment risk.
Customers should inform SurfSide Cleaners of any known contamination, hazardous substance, or other condition that could affect the safe handling of an item.
14.3 Items Inconsistent With Care Instructions
An item may be declined when the requested service is inconsistent with the manufacturer's care instructions or when the available information indicates that the requested process could create an unreasonable risk of damage.
Customers should not request a cleaning, laundering, alteration, or other process that is inconsistent with the item's intended care requirements.
14.4 Special or Delicate Items
Certain fabrics, garments, finishes, embellishments, construction methods, vintage items, specialty items, or other delicate materials may require special handling.
SurfSide Cleaners may recommend an alternative service, limit the requested treatment, or decline the item when the requested service cannot reasonably be performed without an unacceptable risk of damage.
14.5 Customer-Provided Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about an item's condition and any known hazards, previous treatments, unusual materials, or special handling requirements.
Failure to disclose relevant information may affect SurfSide Cleaners' ability to safely process an item and may be considered when evaluating any subsequent claim.
14.6 Right to Decline Service
SurfSide Cleaners reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service when we reasonably determine that processing an item would create an unacceptable risk to the item, our employees, our equipment, or other customers' property.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
15.1 Reasonable Limitations
SurfSide Cleaners will use reasonable care in providing its services. However, certain risks associated with cleaning, laundering, alteration, repair, finishing, and handling of garments and other textile items may arise from the nature, condition, construction, materials, care instructions, previous treatment, or other characteristics of an item.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to make SurfSide Cleaners responsible for conditions or damage that existed before an item was submitted for service or that arise solely from an inherent weakness, defect, deterioration, or characteristic of the item.
15.2 Circumstances Beyond Our Control
SurfSide Cleaners will not be responsible for delays, loss, damage, or inability to perform a service to the extent caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including events such as natural disasters, fire, flood, power outages, equipment failures, governmental actions, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or avoided.

Except where expressly stated otherwise, SurfSide Cleaners does not guarantee that every stain will be removed, that every garment will return to its original appearance or condition, or that every requested alteration, repair, cleaning, or treatment will produce the exact result desired by the customer.
15.4 Claims Subject to Applicable Law
Any liability of SurfSide Cleaners for a verified loss or damage will be evaluated in accordance with these Terms, the circumstances of the individual claim, and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive, or limit any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded, waived, or limited.
15.5 No Waiver of Customer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or eliminate any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable law.
